Episode 10 - What's your Upper Limit?
Today was the first day of my Summer Fun Summit and IT. WAS. A BLAST. So after it was over, I noticed that I found myself thinking constantly about a relationship that had just ended. Nothing at all happened with this person. And thinking about this person instantly made me feel bad about myself, doubting myself and second guessing everything that I do personally and professionally.
Why I share that with you is because it was my UPPER LIMIT kicking in. You see, I couldn't stand how good I was feeling. Subconsciously I didn't think it was safe, and so BOOM...instant bad thought. Which I could have nurtured and gone done a really bad path, maybe picked a fight with my husband, or been annoyed with my kids. But nope! Because I understand my own Upper Limit, I was able to catch it and let it go. Tell myself I'm safe and that I'm doing a great job and that relationship needs to rest right now and I'm not bad for it.
